Heaven Help Me

Willem celebrated Nels's first day off from school today by sticking a Lego antenna up his nose.

It's going to be a long summer.

How far? Was it performance or crisis? Plunger or probe orientation?

Dave, I only found out after the fact, so I'm not sure. He was trying to get away without telling me, but he came in to ask me for a glass of milk right after it happened. His eyes were red and watering, there were tears on his cheeks, and he was sniffling a lot. I asked him if he'd gotten hurt and he leaned over and whispered, "I put a Lego in my nose. An antenna." From the looks of him, I'm guessing he gave himself a good poke pretty far up there. I was thankful for what seemed to be a best-case scenario. I can't imagine trying to retrieve one of those teeny ones if it got lodged up in there.
