Democracy In Action

When I picked up Nels from school today, he was wearing a big "I Voted" sticker on his chest.

"What did you vote for?" I asked.

"Apples."

HiGypsy!

I have been checking in on your blog now and again. Happy Birthday! I'm glad you had a relaxing day with your husband. They are few and far between with your boys the ages that they are. And...they are growing so handsome! I have been thinking of you also because my daughter is working at at tech-type firm in Vancouver,WA, Silicon Forest Electronics. I wondered if your husband knows of it... him being a tech-guy and all. I hope you get this commment. This blog realm is new to me. Many blessings to you and the boys. Fondly, Ms. Lynnette

Ms. Lynette, how very nice to hear from you! Nels will be thrilled to hear that you wrote. He missed his school in "Boise Idaho" (as he always says it) dreadfully when we moved.

Shaun doesn't know your daughter's firm, but how funny that they are both working in tech in the same city! It must be a sign that you are meant to stop by for tea sometime when you are paying her a visit :). Thank you for your kind comment! I hope all is well with you and your family.
