Fixing Breakfast In the Dark

I didn't feel up to facing the overhead fluorescent light in our kitchen this morning, so I didn't turn it on...and ended up serving my kids toast with sugar and paprika.

NEITHER BOY NOTICED.

you are so hilarious. Every post gets me rolling. I can just imagine-the eye twitch, the proposal to trial Bob on the toilet, the paprika. What a couple of days. So many funny moments that just aren't so funny at the time-it is good you write them out to find the humor and let the rest of us enjoy.

Too funny! Guess the boys have not yet developed gourmet palates - or perhaps you've stumbled upon the next new taste sensation!

Quick! Patent that! ;)

Aww, thanks, Heather :)

Yeah, Nancy, I was thinking before that my boys are really adventurous eaters. But maybe it's just that they can't taste anything.

Did you try the sugar /paprika combo yourself? I was curious (but not enough to try myself) if it was actually not bad.

I didn't try it, Danica, but I smelled it and it didn't seem too bad. It was really mild paprika.

At least it wasn't chili powder!

I would like to compliment your use of capital letters. The use of all-caps, by myself and the general population, is a much over- and ill-used practice. I'm glad to see them poetically employed.
